A man has been taken into custody following an incident at a pub where another man was struck in the face with glass. Wiltshire Police are requesting information from witnesses regarding the serious assault that took place at the King’s Arms, located on Castle Street in Trowbridge, during the early hours of Saturday. The individual who was assaulted, aged in his 30s, needed medical attention at a hospital for the injuries he sustained. A man, aged 24, was apprehended on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm and is currently being held in police custody. According to a police spokesperson, the event transpired shortly before 01:00 GMT on Saturday.
