A Halloween costume, inspired by the Day of the Dead and created by a young boy, has been chosen for production and will be worn by Halloween revellers. Etienne, aged 11, participated in a competition organized by a prominent retailer, aiming to have his “Day of the Dead Musician” concept transformed into a costume. This design, depicting a skeletal figure in a red and blue ensemble playing an electric guitar, will be available for purchase at Tesco. Etienne, a resident of Warwick, stated his intention was to create a design that would resonate with younger children aspiring to be “rock stars and pop stars.” The schoolboy mentioned that the vibrant colours of the renowned Spiderman character influenced his design of the colourful figure. “My costume is a Day of the Dead inspired musician with a guitar so I thought a lot of younger kids wanted to be pop stars and rock stars so I decided they could be that for Halloween but with a spooky twist,” he said. “Also I’ve played electric guitar in a band so I thought it’s be good to include that as well.” Emma Williams, the lead manager at Tesco Arena Park in Coventry, expressed her view that the design was “amazing” and observed that “all the kids are loving the costumes.” Etienne announced his plan to commemorate this accomplishment by hosting a Halloween party. He remarked, “I was pretty shocked that I got the chance to do this because I entered it with a really cool idea, I think, but I wasn’t I sort of wasn’t expecting to win it.” Post navigation Abandoned Kitten Recovers and Finds Permanent Home Local Residents Divided Over Proposal for New Alcohol Establishment
