Nedim Bajrami has asserted that “mentally strong” Rangers are prepared to overcome their League Cup final disappointment as they prepare to welcome Dundee to Ibrox on Saturday for Premiership action. Albania midfielder Bajrami opened the scoring in the thrilling 3-3 draw against Celtic at Hampden, a match Rangers ultimately lost 5-4 on penalties after being incorrectly denied a penalty. “We know everyone was disappointed and I think everyone saw that was a clear penalty,” Bajrami stated. He added, “We had a meeting about that, but this is gone now. We’re looking forward to tomorrow and we are back to the league.” Bajrami also commented on the team’s recent form, saying, “We did a great job the last couple of weeks and everyone, every player is growing up and we have to keep going like that.” He further emphasized the team’s strength, stating, “We are a strong team. We are mentally strong, so we are looking forward game by game and this is gone now.” Reflecting on the cup final, Bajrami remarked, “I’ve played a lot of games in big stadiums, but I think this one [the cup final] was one of my biggest that I played, Celtic v Rangers.” He concluded, “It was a nice experience. I was happy to score at my first derby but disappointed that we didn’t win.” Post navigation Rangers Supporters React to Comprehensive 6-0 Victory Against Kilmarnock Reports: Arsenal Interested in January Vlahovic Transfer
