Law enforcement authorities are looking into allegations concerning the death of a fox on the premises of a school, purportedly at the hands of a hunting group. According to eyewitness accounts, a fox was observed being pursued across a sports pitch at Stowe School, located in Buckinghamshire, during Tuesday afternoon while students were attending classes. The animal was then reportedly killed by hounds within one of the boarding institution’s ancillary structures. The educational establishment has been approached for a statement regarding the incident. The Grafton Hunt conducted a gathering in the vicinity, and its honorary secretary, Philippa White, informed the BBC, stating: “One hears rumours all the time; I am not going to tell the press if I do know anything.” Thames Valley Police confirmed receiving a notification that a “fox was found dead in the grounds”. A representative for the police force stated: “Our Buckingham Neighbourhood along with the rural crime task force team have received a report whereby a fox was found dead in the grounds of Stowe School.” The spokesperson further added: “We are actively investigating and working with the school to secure evidence, but this is not believed to have involved the school, other than having come onto their grounds.” Post navigation Elmbridge Identified as Surrey’s Top Area for Uninsured Driving Suspect Arrested After Man Slashed in Doncaster City Centre
