Cameron Gardner made his initial appearance for Grimsby in the EFL Trophy last September, playing against Barnsley when he was 17 years old. The Grimsby Town forward has prolonged his agreement with the club, which will now run until the conclusion of the 2027-28 season. Now 19 years old, Gardner has participated in 15 matches across all competitions for the Mariners during the current season. His inaugural goal in senior-level football occurred earlier this month during the EFL Trophy fixture, a 3-2 victory against Chesterfield. “We are delighted to tie up Cam to a new deal and he’s fully deserved it. What he has achieved as a first-year professional has been excellent,” stated boss Dave Artell on the club’s official website.
