Torquay United has announced the acquisition of midfielder Dylan Morgan from Yeovil Town. Morgan was part of the Yeovil squad that secured the National League South title last season. The 22-year-old player initially joined the Glovers in January on a two-and-a-half-year contract. He subsequently made 29 appearances, scoring four goals, as the team clinched the National League South championship. Morgan, a former youth team member at Southampton, Forest Green Rovers, and Swansea City, spent a month on loan earlier this season at Weston-super-Mare, a club that competes in the same division as Torquay. During his time at Weston, he scored three goals in four matches. This season, he has also played 11 times for Yeovil in the National League. Morgan’s transfer to Plainmoor follows that of his former teammate, striker Jordan Young, who also moved from Huish Park to the Gulls in October for an undisclosed fee.
