A tourism official has announced the launch of an initiative designed to attract a greater number of visitors to Jersey in the upcoming year. Visit Jersey stated that it is collaborating with various travel companies, such as Expedia, easyJet Holidays, Jet2, Blue Islands, and Hotels.com, with the aim of “showcase” the island as part of this campaign. Tricia Warwick, the chief executive, commented that this joint effort is intended to “capture the attention of prospective visitors and drive bookings to Jersey for next year”. She further explained, “These campaigns will also build momentum ahead of exciting activity we have planned for 2025.” The chief executive also mentioned, “Including our spring/summer brand campaign launch in January and promotion of the forthcoming Bergerac reboot.” Ms. Warwick had previously indicated that Jersey recorded 98,900 holidaymakers between January and May, representing an increase of 14,100 leisure visitors when compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Visit Jersey confirmed that these campaigns are scheduled to run for a duration of six weeks.
