Two men are facing charges following an incident in Peterhead on Bonfire Night where a 33-year-old man was struck by a van after a firework explosion. The injured man received treatment from paramedics at the scene, located in the Aalesund Road area of the town, at approximately 21:20 on Tuesday. The explosion also caused damage to a grassy area at the nearby skatepark. Police Scotland confirmed that the two men, aged 57 and 62, have been charged in connection with the event and are expected to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on a future date. The force additionally reported that a second man, aged 37, was also hit by the van but did not sustain any injuries.
