Frankie Halton, who became a pivotal member of the Leigh squad last season, has extended his contract with the Leigh Leopards until the conclusion of the 2027 Super League season. The Leigh-born Ireland international established himself as a regular in Adrian Lam’s team during the previous season, following his initial campaign back at his original club. Second rower Halton commenced his career at the Leopards before playing for Swinton Lions, Featherstone Rovers, and Hull Kingston Rovers, prior to his return in 2023. Leigh head of rugby Chris Chester provided a statement to the club website: “After a very frustrating 2023 season disrupted by injury, Frankie showed exactly why we brought him back to the club when he was able to play consistently last year.“It’s important for the people of this town to have local talent in the team, and they certainly have that in Frankie.” Post navigation All you need to know about Ireland v Fiji Rangers’ 6-0 Victory Over Kilmarnock: Statistical Review
