Micah Richards Notes “Good Signs” for Manchester United Under Amorim

Micah Richards has described the initial indications from Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United team as “good,” following the Portuguese coach’s inaugural loss as head coach, which occurred against Arsenal on Wednesday. During an appearance on Match of the Day, subsequent to United’s 2-0 defeat at Arsenal’s stadium, Richards commented: “I saw good signs today, especially in the first half. But for 90 minutes they need a little bit more. The summer can’t come soon enough for him.” Martin Keown, a former defender for Arsenal, echoed Richards’ sentiment but suggested that Amorim’s squad still lacked certain elements. Keown further stated: “They definitely look better but they didn’t create enough.” He continued, “The first stage is good, stopping Arsenal, but they need to do the other bit better.”
