Prison sentences have been issued to three armed brothers who forced their way into a man’s residence and assaulted him. According to Nottinghamshire Police, Daniel, Dean, and Joshua Peacock were armed with a hammer, a scaffolding pole, and a bat when they gained entry to the Worksop property on July 8. The victim, a man in his 30s who was known to the siblings, sustained a fractured skull after being hit on the head. On Tuesday, Daniel Peacock, 41, residing at Yeoman Close, along with Dean Peacock, 38, and Joshua Peacock, 32, both from Campbell Close in Worksop, received their sentences after pleading guilty to aggravated burglary with intent. A judge imposed prison terms of six years and nine months on Daniel and Dean Peacock, while Joshua Peacock was sentenced to six years in custody. Police stated that the brothers were recorded on mobile phone footage while inside the residence. The force further noted that a woman and several children were also present within the home. Detective Constable Michaela Williams commented that the man’s injuries “could easily have been even more grave” than what occurred. She further stated: “We believe this attack may have been the result of a neighbourhood dispute.” “Whatever their motivation, the level of violence displayed by the three brothers was completely unacceptable.” “They entered the victim’s home while children were present, swinging weapons and threatening the man.” “He was then struck to the head with a weapon which caused a serious head injury.” Post navigation Woman Detained in Kyran Durnin Murder Investigation Government’s Legacy Act Repeal Elicits Mixed Reactions from Victims
