Winger Nicolas Kuhn has stated, “my focus is on Celtic,” amidst increasing speculation regarding his future following a strong start to the season. The German player, who experienced a challenging introduction to life in Glasgow after joining the Parkhead side last January, increased his goal tally for the current campaign to nine by scoring a Champions League double against RB Leipzig on Tuesday. Reports suggest the 24-year-old is attracting interest from the English Premier League, but Kuhn is reportedly not allowing himself to be distracted by these links. He commented, “Of course I’m happy here,” adding, “I haven’t been here for too long, so my focus is on Celtic.” Kuhn, who aims to eventually secure a place in the Germany national team, described scoring twice in Celtic’s comeback victory against Leipzig as an “unbelievable” feeling. The forward praised the team’s reaction to their 7-1 loss in Dortmund earlier this season and noted that Tuesday’s atmosphere demonstrated that “anything is possible” at Parkhead. He further stated, “I think with every game we’re growing. We come closer together. I think we’ve bounced back really good from the Dortmund game.” He continued, “And [Tuesday] showed we can still progress and we can do better. It’s now seven points against some pretty tough teams. That’s quite an unbelievable return with four games still to go.” Post navigation Brighton Midfielder Carlos Baleba: High Potential, Inconsistent Form Ireland’s Jacob Stockdale sustains hamstring injury during Fiji victory
