A male individual has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder following the demise of a woman. West Mercia Police reported that officers discovered a 44-year-old woman with stab wounds at a residence on Other Road in Redditch, Worcestershire, at approximately 09:30 GMT on Monday. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody. Chief Inspector Gareth Lougher stated his belief that there was no wider danger to the public, but confirmed that a cordon would stay in place while investigations were being conducted. Neighbour Anisa Hussain said: “I feel devastated by the news.
