Ralls Confident Cardiff Can Pose Problems for Sheffield United

Joe Ralls expressed his belief that Cardiff City has the potential to challenge Sheffield United when the Bluebirds welcome the Blades to south Wales for their match on Saturday, scheduled for a 15:00 GMT kick-off. In their previous fixture, Omer Riza’s team conceded a late equalizer, resulting in a 2-2 draw against Stoke City. Conversely, Chris Wilder’s squad will travel to the Welsh capital boasting an unbeaten streak of 10 league matches. Sheffield United secured a three-point lead at the top of the Championship standings on Saturday, following their 2-0 victory over Plymouth Argyle at Bramall Lane. However, captain Ralls believes Cardiff could achieve an upset against the current league leaders if they manage to reproduce the level of play demonstrated in their Saturday draw against Stoke. “It’s a tough game, but it’s a good game. The fans will get right behind us,” he stated to BBC Sport Wales. He added, “We know it’s a tough challenge but it’s one that we’re looking forward to.” Ralls further emphasized, “If we perform like that (against Stoke) which is the standard we have to set now, we have to keep that, not for a few games, but for the rest of the season.” He concluded, “We’ll have a chance, we’ll create problems for them and we’ll have an opportunity to get some points.”
