Maresca Attributes Chelsea’s League Cup Defeat to 10-Minute Lapse

Following Chelsea’s League Cup defeat to Newcastle, manager Enzo Maresca addressed the media. He added that Chelsea regained control of the game throughout the second half. Emphasizing that the result is paramount, Maresca concluded that, despite an otherwise “quite good” performance, the loss was attributable to the 10-minute spell immediately following Newcastle’s opening goal.
