A 27-year-old woman has passed away subsequent to a collision involving a lorry in Moray. The incident, which occurred on the A96 west of Forres at approximately 07:10, involved the woman’s vehicle and the lorry. Emergency personnel responded, and the woman was declared deceased at the site of the collision. Her next of kin have been informed. According to Police Scotland, the 57-year-old male driver of the lorry did not require medical attention. The thoroughfare was shut down to enable collision investigators to conduct their examination of the location. Sgt Lesley Morrison issued a statement, saying: “I am appealing to anyone who was on this road around the time of the incident to contact us.” “We are aware there were some people who stopped to assist who left before officers arrived, I would ask these people to get in touch with us.” “It’s imperative we establish the full circumstances of the collision.
