She has been identified locally as Vanessa O’Callaghan, aged 36, as reported by Irish broadcaster RTÉ. RTÉ further stated that Ms. O’Callaghan had utilized homeless services for several years and was discovered unresponsive on the ground following an altercation that occurred close to a soup kitchen. The assault, which proved fatal, took place in the vicinity of the Savoy cinema on St. Patrick Street, occurring between 19:15 and 20:15 local time on Sunday. Gardaí, the Irish police force, confirmed that she succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday.
