A 69-year-old woman has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder after a man was discovered deceased at his residence in East Grinstead. Sussex Police reported that officers were dispatched to a “domestic incident” at a property situated in Paddock Gardens at approximately 19:45 GMT on Thursday. The 61-year-old man received treatment from paramedics but was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been notified. The apprehended woman, who is from East Grinstead, was also detained on suspicion of actual bodily harm and remains in police custody, the force confirmed.
