This incident, which included a lorry and a car, occurred on Thursday afternoon on the M40 southbound within Warwickshire, specifically between junction 16, located close to Hockley Heath, and junction 15, which serves Longbridge Island. Visuals shared across social media platforms depicted the front section of the affected bus in contact with the back of a lorry trailer in the vicinity of Lapworth. The driver received medical attention for minor injuries. It is believed that no players were present on the bus during the incident. The West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that it attended to a single individual, identified as the coach driver, for minor injuries. This patient was released from care at the site of the collision. Real Madrid, the Spanish club, had been defeated 2-0 by Liverpool on Wednesday.
