Authorities have charged a 16-year-old female with the murder of a homeless individual. The victim was fatally attacked while seeking shelter in a bin shed located in central London. The victim, identified as Anthony Marks, aged 51, was assaulted during the early morning hours of August 10. The incident occurred on Cromer Street, in the vicinity of King’s Cross St Pancras station. Hailing from Brixton in south London, the girl’s identity is legally protected due to her minor status. Her court appearance is scheduled for a later date at Croydon Magistrates’ Court. This development follows the charging in October of a 17-year-old male from Dagenham, east London, also in connection with Mr. Marks’s murder. He is slated to stand trial next year.
