Police have reported that a pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, was transported to the hospital with suspected serious injuries after she was “struck by a van.” Wiltshire Police stated the incident occurred on Friday morning, approximately 10:20 GMT, on Brickworth Road in Whiteparish, near Salisbury. Officers indicated that the silver VW Transporter involved is believed to have veered off the road and mounted the pavement. Authorities added that the driver remained at the scene, and no arrests have been made. Officers are appealing for witnesses and any available dash-cam footage.
