Kilmarnock achieved a Scottish Premiership victory at Tynecastle, overcoming an initial deficit to defeat Hearts and inflict new head coach Neil Critchley’s inaugural loss in his role. Hearts, playing at home, controlled possession and appeared to justify their advantage after Alan Forrest scored close to the conclusion of the first half. However, within a five-minute period, Kilmarnock capitalized on defensive vulnerabilities from Hearts, scoring two goals courtesy of Matty Kennedy and subsequently Kyle Vassell.
