A former nurse has been taken into custody and formally accused of the theft of morphine from the medical facility where she was employed. The 36-year-old individual faces a charge of employee theft, following the alleged disappearance of the substance from University Hospital Coventry in 2023. According to West Midlands Police, additional accusations against her include fraud through the abuse of her professional position and involvement in the supply of Class A drugs.
