Three individuals have been taken into custody on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter following a fatal incident involving a car and a heavy goods vehicle with a trailer. Leicestershire Police reported that officers were dispatched to a section of the A447 Hinckley Road in Cadeby, near Market Bosworth in Leicestershire, at 12:36 GMT on Thursday. A man in his 50s, who was operating a black BMW, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported from the crash. A 46-year-old man was initially arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after the collision. On Friday, he faced a further arrest on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter. Police also stated that two other men, aged 20 and 17, were arrested on Friday, both on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter. On Saturday, a police spokesperson confirmed that all the arrested men have been released on bail as the investigation continues. The force has requested that anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage from the area make contact.
