Sara Suggitt, owner of Oops-a-Daisy on Quay Road in Bridlington, is organizing a fundraising effort centered on a Santa’s nice list. A suggested donation of £2 will be requested for each name, which will then be featured in a window display. All proceeds collected from this initiative will be contributed to Saint Catherine’s Hospice. This organization, located in Scarborough, delivers essential end-of-life care at home to individuals across North and East Yorkshire. Ms. Suggitt stated that the display aims to “share some Christmas cheer” while simultaneously generating funds to support the hospice’s “amazing work.” Every person whose name is included on the list will be presented with a certificate from Santa, confirming their place on the nice list. Individuals wishing to participate can contact the business by sending a message via Facebook or by visiting the shop at 16 Quay Road, Bridlington. Families are encouraged to visit the premises to locate their name on the list and capture a photograph in front of the window display.
