Authorities have apprehended a fourth individual in connection with the fatal shooting of a man who was inside a vehicle. The victim, Raad Asmael, succumbed to gunshot wounds sustained on November 22 at the intersection of Rotton Park Road and City Road in Edgbaston, Birmingham. West Midlands Police confirmed that the most recent suspect taken into custody is 21 years old. He is being held on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and continues to be detained for questioning. Previously, a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. Additionally, two other individuals, aged 25 and 31, were apprehended on suspicion of assisting an offender. All three of these men have subsequently been released on bail while investigations proceed. The police force further stated that a firearm previously seized from a property during the initial stages of the inquiry was, following examination, determined to have no connection to the homicide.
