A pedestrian has died after being struck by a lorry on a significant road that traverses a county. Northamptonshire Police stated they were called to the westbound carriageway of the A14, near junction 10 for Burton Latimer, at approximately 11:10 GMT on Friday. The force reported that a 52-year-old pedestrian had been involved in a collision with an HGV lorry “for reasons not yet known”. Officers are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
