Scotland fly-half Adam Hastings is facing uncertainty regarding his involvement in the forthcoming Six Nations tournament after sustaining a facial fracture. The injury occurred during Glasgow Warriors’ narrow 17-15 URC victory against Scarlets on Friday, with Hastings requiring assistance to leave the field. The 28-year-old was substituted during the first half of the match after a collision with Scarlets number eight Vaea Fifita. This injury is expected to keep him sidelined for a period before he can return to play. Glasgow Warriors issued a statement regarding his condition, which read: “After a short spell in hospital after suffering a facial fracture, [Hastings] has now been released and is back home – he will now begin working with our medical team on his return to play pathway.”
