A 65-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle collision in West Sussex. Emergency services were dispatched to the site on Ardingly Road, Lindfield, at approximately 06:35 GMT on Friday. “The sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene,” police said. His next of kin have been informed, and an investigation to establish the full circumstances of the crash is ongoing. Stonecross Lane and Park Lane had been closed to traffic in both directions but have since reopened. Anyone who witnessed the collision or possesses dashcam footage is urged to contact police.
