A 50ft (15m) canal boat has been reported stolen from its private mooring in Milton Keynes. Thames Valley Police stated that the vessel, named Gyrafalcon, was taken at some point between June and October from the Grand Union Canal, specifically from an area outside The Red Lion pub in Fenny Stratford. Detective Constable Jenna Wilde stated: “I am appealing to anyone with mobile phone, CCTV or dash-cam footage to get in touch with the force in case it has captured something which may assist this investigation.” The Grand Union Canal, a man-made system spanning 137 miles (220km), connects London with Birmingham and traverses the counties of Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, and Warwickshire.
