Police have confirmed the death of an 83-year-old woman following a road traffic collision. Emergency services were called to the incident on Talavera Way, in Northampton, on Friday at approximately 13:05 GMT. The crash involved a blue Ford EcoSport and a red Vauxhall Agila. The 83-year-old female passenger of the Vauxhall was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the same vehicle sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Hospital Coventry. Officers are appealing for any witnesses or individuals possessing CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them, referencing incident number 24000739976.
