Law enforcement authorities are continuing their investigation into a collision that resulted in a woman sustaining severe injuries, from which she subsequently passed away. Homages have been offered for Charlotte Beynon, aged 32, who was involved in the incident in Rhayader, Powys, on December 3. Dyfed-Powys Police stated on Monday that Ms. Beynon was a passenger in a white BMW M235 that collided with a bridge at approximately 13:30 GMT on the aforementioned day. The police force confirmed that Ms. Beynon was transported to a medical facility, where she succumbed to her injuries on December 7. In a statement of remembrance, her family described her, saying: “Charlotte was absolutely one of a kind, funny without realising it, totally beautiful both inside and out with a love of life, animals, friends, family, and work colleagues.” Her family further expressed that she would “breeze into a room with her big smile and make everything brighter and everyone feel better about themselves.” The statement also conveyed: “Charlotte was unique in so many ways and is utterly irreplaceable to her mother, late father, brother, niece, and other members of the family and valued friends.” The family additionally stated that they found solace in the belief that she would now be at peace with her late father “who she cherished and missed every day.” Dyfed-Powys Police issued an appeal for anyone who observed the collision or possesses any information pertinent to the police investigation to come forward.
