A substantial projection-based artwork, visible across a waterfront, has received an extension, now scheduled to run until December 22. Known as Monad, this water-based artwork was previously featured in the Lightwaves Salford exhibition. It projects a 30-meter-wide (98 ft) video onto a mist of water, which serves as its screen. The Monad installation is accessible to the public free of charge in MediaCity, operating nightly from 16:00 to 22:00 GMT, with its current daily schedule continuing until Sunday. Monad is an integral part of the Quays Culture Programme, a partnership initiative committed to revitalizing public spaces and bringing art and cultural events to the community for universal enjoyment. The artwork was created by Norwegian artist Anastasia Isachsen and is accompanied by a musical soundtrack composed by jazz artist Arve Henriksen. Additionally, food outlets, including temporary pop-up vendors, are situated near the display in MediaCity for visitors.
