A maritime search operation has been concluded following reports of a potentially missing diver. HM Coastguard reported that the operation, which began after an alarm was raised at 13:15 GMT on Thursday, involved a helicopter, a plane, coastguard rescue teams, a lifeboat, and North Wales Police. These assets were deployed off Porth Ysgaden, situated on the Llŷn peninsula in Gwynedd. The Maritime and Coastguard Agency stated early on Friday that the search concluded just after midnight, with no individual found. Police indicated that their officers are continuing to assist with land-based searches, and their inquiries remain active.
