Police have confirmed that quadbikes, mountain bikes, and various tools were taken from agricultural properties located in Cornwall. Devon & Cornwall Police indicated that reports of these thefts originated from outbuildings in Pensilva and Quethiock, areas situated close to Liskeard. The incidents occurred between 02:00 and 06:30 GMT on Monday, with perpetrators gaining access by force. Law enforcement officers have issued an appeal, urging individuals to review any relevant CCTV, doorbell, or dash-cam recordings and to report any activity they deem suspicious. The police department recommended that owners of comparable properties inspect their outbuildings and contemplate reassessing their current locks, security measures, and CCTV systems. Furthermore, the police suggested implementing clamps and tracking devices on quad bikes, ensuring vehicles and machinery are immobilised within secure, lockable structures, storing keys separately from the vehicles, and maintaining detailed records of vehicle and equipment information.
