Manchester United has announced the confirmation of five individuals joining Ruben Amorim’s backroom staff, all of whom are arriving at the club from Sporting. Carlos Fernandes is set to assume the role of Amorim’s assistant head coach, with Adelio Candido and Emanuel Ferro taking positions as first-team coaches. Jorge Vital will become the first-team goalkeeper coach, and Paulo Barreira is appointed as the physical performance coach. These new members will integrate with existing first-team coaches Darren Fletcher and Andreas Georgson, along with the assistant first-team goalkeeper coach, all of whom were already at the club during Erik ten Hag’s tenure.
