Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Cabinet Nominees Mark Election Victory at UFC Event

Donald Trump was greeted warmly while commemorating his election win at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event in New York, accompanied by Elon Musk and several of his chosen cabinet members. His entrance into the arena at Maddison Square Garden for UFC 309 was met with loud music and applause from the spectators. For the majority of the evening, he was seated between Dana White, the UFC President, and Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla. Among the attendees were two of Trump’s significant cabinet selections, Robert F Kennedy Jr and Tulsi Gabbard, along with Vivek Ramaswamy, who is slated to co-lead Trump’s cost-reduction initiative, the “Department of Government Efficiency,” with Musk. Trump enthusiastically greeted Joe Rogan, the podcaster and UFC announcer, who had endorsed the president-elect following his appearance on Rogan’s program prior to the election. As he proceeded towards the octagon, Trump waved to supporters who chanted “USA,” subsequently receiving applause and dancing while the UFC broadcasted a video package commemorating his election triumph over Kamala Harris. Following this, Jon Jones, after successfully defending his heavyweight UFC title, celebrated by approaching Trump and presenting his title to the president-elect. Jones stated, “I want to say a big thank thank you to President Donald Trump for being here tonight,” which was met with a tremendous roar of approval from the audience. Trump has consistently supported the UFC, having attended numerous live events throughout the years. While typically receiving a positive reception from fans, he did encounter some boos at a UFC event in 2019, near the conclusion of his initial presidential term. Dana White stands out as one of Trump’s most prominent supporters. The UFC president delivered a speech at the Republican National Convention in July, remarking: “I’m in the tough guy business and this man is the toughest, most resilient human being I have ever met in my entire life.”
