Sydney Sixers captain Moises Henriques delivered an unbeaten 53 runs from 27 balls, steering his team to a five-wicket triumph against the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League. Pursuing a target of 170, Henriques struck four fours and three sixes, enabling the three-time champions to win with nine balls to spare. Hampshire’s James Vince contributed 40 runs off 29 deliveries at the top of the order, while Jack Edwards added 37 runs. Earlier, the Renegades had set a score of 169 for seven wickets, with New Zealand’s Tim Seifert scoring 55 runs off 42 balls and captain Will Sutherland remaining unbeaten with 36 runs. England all-rounder Jacob Bethell is slated to join the Renegades following the conclusion of the Test tour of New Zealand this week.
