A man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of 51-year-old Kevin Taylor, who was found unconscious in Walsall. Mr. Taylor, also known as Taisekwa, was discovered with severe injuries on Lichfield Street just before 05:00 GMT on Saturday. The accused, Kejuan Malone, 32, of Hall Green, Birmingham, was scheduled to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Tuesday. In a tribute released by West Midlands Police, Mr. Taylor’s family referred to him as their “hero.” His children stated: “Dad, you were our hero, a guiding light who taught us love, kindness, and resilience. Your generosity and unwavering support touched so many lives, and your memory will forever live in our hearts. We love you deeply and will honour your legacy always.” Mr. Taylor’s parents also issued a statement, saying: “Our beloved son Taisekwa, your kindness and compassion were a blessing to all who knew you. You brought joy and pride to our lives, and your selflessness touched hearts far and wide. Though you are gone, your legacy of love will forever remain with us. We will miss you dearly, our precious child.” The police force indicated that its investigation is continuing and urged any witnesses to come forward.
