One man died and four individuals sustained injuries following a collision involving two vehicles. Emergency services responded at 20:50 GMT on Wednesday to reports of the crash, which occurred on the A47 at Thorney Toll, near Peterborough, and involved a Nissan Pulsar and a grey Toyota Prius. The man who died was a passenger in the Nissan, aged in his 60s; he was transported to Peterborough City Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Nissan, a woman in her 60s, and a woman in her 30s who was a passenger in the Toyota, were both hospitalized with injuries classified as life-threatening. The driver of the Toyota, a man in his 20s, was admitted to hospital with serious injuries, while another male passenger, also in his 20s, sustained minor injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses or individuals who were in the vicinity at the time of the incident and possess dashcam footage.
