Police have stated that three individuals were injured following a three-vehicle crash in Cornwall. Devon and Cornwall Police reported that the collision took place on the A388, near Tamar View Nurseries at Carkeel, Saltash, at approximately 14:35 GMT. The force specified that a man, a woman, and a child sustained injuries, but the severity of their injuries was not disclosed. Police indicated that the A388 had been closed in both directions, with considerable delays observed near the Tamar Bridge. Tamar Crossings communicated on X that the incident on the A388 had been cleared and that westbound delays had lessened. Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that three vehicles were involved in the crash, including one car that had overturned. Motorists experienced significant delays near the Tamar Bridge, though traffic conditions have since improved.
