An individual riding an electric scooter has sustained serious injuries following an impact with a car. Emergency responders were dispatched to Maskew Avenue Retail Park in Peterborough on Wednesday at 11:15 BST. Cambridgeshire Police reported that both vehicles were proceeding in the same direction near the Aldi store, heading towards the roundabout with Bourges Boulevard. A 57-year-old man was transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, while the 63-year-old woman driving the car is reportedly cooperating with detectives regarding their inquiries.
