Man charged in connection with serious head injuries to octogenarian

An individual has been accused of grievous bodily harm following an incident where a man in his 80s sustained severe head injuries. Law enforcement officials received notification of a verbal dispute, which was reported to have escalated into a physical confrontation, occurring at Church Lane in Snitterby at 13:20 GMT on Tuesday. A 53-year-old male was taken into custody on Tuesday and subsequently charged with grievous bodily harm on Wednesday evening. He was held in custody and scheduled to make an appearance at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
