In 2023, Manchester City claimed the Fifa Club World Cup title for the first time. Streaming platform DAZN has obtained exclusive rights to broadcast the upcoming Fifa Club World Cup next summer. DAZN is set to air all 63 matches of the expanded 32-team tournament, which is scheduled to be held in the United States between 15 June and 13 July next year. Every match will be live-streamed and accessible for free viewing on its platforms. Additionally, there is potential for DAZN to sublicense rights to local free-to-air broadcasters. The deal is reportedly valued at approximately 1 billion euros (£829 million). This partnership with football’s global governing body, Fifa, will commence on Thursday, coinciding with the live broadcast of the Fifa Club World Cup draw in Miami. Fifa president Gianni Infantino stated: “Through this broadcasting agreement, billions of football fans worldwide can now watch what will be the most widely accessible club football tournament ever – and for free.” Post navigation Amorim’s Initial Focus: Establishing Team Identity O’Sullivan Eliminated by Pang Junxu in Nanjing
