A man died after being struck by a lorry on a main road in Bradford. Police and the ambulance service were dispatched to Rooley Lane, near its junction with Bowling Hall Road, just before 11:00 GMT. West Yorkshire Police stated that the incident involved a male pedestrian and a HGV. The road has been closed, and drivers are being advised to avoid the area. The driver of the HGV was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and is currently in police custody. Anyone who saw either the male or the vehicle beforehand, witnessed the collision, or possesses any relevant footage is requested to contact MCET on 101, referencing police log 550 of December 8.
