Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses following the discovery of a woman with serious facial injuries on a footpath. The individual, identified as being in her 60s, was found by members of the public at 08:15 GMT on 18 November. She was located on a path situated between Old Station Road and Glebe Way in Mendlesham. Officers believe the woman sustained her injuries between 08:06 and 08:15. Suffolk Police have issued an appeal for a male jogger who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident to make contact. The woman was found on the ground and subsequently attended hospital for her injuries. Police described the jogger as skinny, with dark hair or a dark hat, and wearing a white vest top and white shorts. Authorities have stated they are keeping an open mind regarding the circumstances of the event.
