Sheffield United has emerged victorious in four of their previous six away league matches when playing Bristol City, with one draw and one loss. Bristol City boasts an undefeated streak in their last 11 home league games (six wins, five draws). However, they face the possibility of drawing four consecutive league matches at Ashton Gate, a scenario not seen since April 2009. Sheffield United has claimed victory in five of their last seven Championship games played during midweek (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). The two matches they did not win were both 1-0 away defeats, one of which occurred this season against Middlesbrough.
