A collision involving an ambulance and two additional vehicles resulted in one individual being hospitalized. A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service Trust (EEAST) reported that the organization was informed of the incident on the A149 in Dersingham, close to King’s Lynn, Norfolk, at approximately 07:10 GMT. The spokesman further stated, “Five people were assessed at the scene and one patient was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn with minor injuries.” EEAST clarified that the ambulance was not conveying patients at the time of the crash but was responding to an emergency call under blue light conditions. Norfolk Police confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. The road was temporarily closed to allow for the recovery of the vehicles involved. The ambulance trust also mentioned that it follows established internal procedures after any road collisions involving its fleet.
