Saka: Arsenal Unafraid to Declare Title Ambitions

Bukayo Saka has stated that he and his fellow Arsenal players are “not scared” to express their ambition of winning the Premier League or Champions League during the current season. Arsenal concluded the previous two domestic seasons as runners-up to Manchester City. As they approach the festive period this year, the team occupies third place in the league standings, trailing the leader by six points. The club made its return to the Champions League last season following a six-year hiatus, advancing to the quarter-finals. Arsenal has not secured a major trophy in four years, and Saka has expressed his determination to assist the team in breaking this streak in the current season. In an exclusive interview with BBC Sport, he stated: “We’re not scared. The last two seasons we’ve competed for the league and come very close.” He continued, “We’re also back in the Champions League – we have some experience there now – so we feel we’re ready to compete for every trophy.” Saka added, “We really want to take that next step and try to win something.”
