Ben Davies put the home side ahead in the first period at Vindico Arena. Tyler Busch and Cody Donaghey then scored additional goals in the second period, increasing Cardiff’s advantage. Jack Jacome netted the Flames’ initial goal in the third period, but Cardiff had already accumulated enough goals to clinch the win. The Devils are scheduled to return to Elite League play against Coventry Blaze on Sunday at 17:30 GMT. The Flames will face the same opponent on Saturday at 18:00 GMT.
